The foreign exchange reserves of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) climbed by 1.64pct in December, to 33.065 billion euros, compared to the level recorded at the end of November, according to a BNR press release issued on Thursday for AGERPRES.
The gold reserve maintained at 103.7 tonnes. In terms of international price developments, its value amounted to 3.735 billion euros.
Romania's international reserves (currencies plus gold) on 31 December 2018 were 36.8 billion euros, compared to 36.130 billion euros on 30 November 2018.
