The value added tax will be borne from the state budget for all beneficiaries of the Large Infrastructure Operational Program, in the areas related to the development of intelligent gas distribution networks, Agerpres reports.
Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca announced on Wednesday, at the beginning of the government meeting, that an emergency ordinance in this regard will be approved.
"In today's meeting we will adopt an emergency ordinance establishing a series of measures to increase the degree of absorption for European funds and, in this sense, for all beneficiaries of the Large Infrastructure Operational Program, the value added tax will be borne from the state budget for areas related to the development of smart gas distribution networks and increasing the production of energy from less exploited renewable resources. And here we are talking about biomass, biogas and geothermal. And, of course, there are a number of other items to decide upon, so that European funds can be directed to the areas where they are most needed," the premier said.
