Two of the three Greek patients hospitalised at the Timisoara County Hospital following Tuesday's accident will leave for Greece by plane on Thursday morning, representatives of the Timis County Prefecture inform.
According to the same source, the departure will take place from Timisoara International Airport.
Seven Greek patients, supporters of the PAOK football team, lost their lives and three others were injured in a serious road accident that occurred on Tuesday on National Road DN6, near Lugojel. They were traveling by minibus to Lyon, where their favorite team was scheduled to play.
According to the Timis Police, the man driving the minibus from the municipality of Caransebes toward Lugoj at one point entered the opposite lane and collided head-on with a truck.
The manager of the Timisoara County Hospital, Dorel Sandesc, stated on Wednesday that the condition of the three injured Greek youths who survived the DN 6 accident is stable and that they are fit for transport, with the decision regarding their transfer to Greece depending on their families' decision.
Judicial sources involved in the investigation to determine the causes of the accident told AGERPRES on Wednesday that, among other items, 'two small packets were found in the vehicle in which the victims were traveling, one containing a plant-based substance and the other a white substance.'
