Prime Minister Viorica Dancila will welcome on Tuesday, at the Victoria Palace, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini, who is paying an official visit to Romania, a release of the Romanian Government sent to AGERPRES on Monday informs.
According to the quoted source, the official visit to Romania of the Slovak PM takes place at the invitation extended by the Romanian PM.
"The visit is part of a series of sustained by high-level bilateral contacts carried out over the past years and mainly aims to strengthen and diversify the cooperation as partners states in the EU and allies inside NATO on the main topics of shared interest of the bilateral, regional and European agenda," reads the release.
According to the Executive in Bucharest, the welcoming of Pellegrini by PM Dancila will be followed by official talks in the plenary sitting of the two delegations and the signing ceremony, in the presence of the two Prime Ministers, of "the Cooperation Programme in the education area between Romania's National Education Ministry and the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, for 2018-2022."
Afterwards, the two Prime Ministers will hold joint press statements.
