The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (UTCN) offers its students over 4,900 accommodation places in its dormitories for the 2025-2026 academic year.
"The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca offers 4,935 accommodation places to students, on the university campuses in Cluj-Napoca, in the Observator Complex and in the Marasti Complex. Accommodation prices start from 260 lei per month for a place in a 4-bed room and reach 365 lei per month for a place in a 2-bed room. All rooms have their own bathroom," according to an information sent on Friday by UTCN.
According to the cited source, all first-year undergraduate students admitted to budgeted places at one of the faculties of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca benefit from a place in the dormitory.
Student accommodation in dormitories will take place between September 23-26, 2025.
"Repairs have been carried out in the accommodation spaces that UTCN makes available to students, as well as disinfection, disinfestation and deratization of the rooms and annexes. Among the facilities enjoyed by students accommodated in UTCN dormitories are reading rooms on each floor, free access to washing machines and dryers on each level, unlimited access to the internet, cooking offices and fire surveillance and prevention systems. On the university campuses there are spaces intended for sports activities - a sports field with artificial turf and nighttime, but also areas with adjustable fitness equipment and urban furniture," the UTCN information also states.
