The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened the trading session on Tuesday amid uncertain developments, and the turnover reached 2.9 million lei (593,511 euros) after 30 minutes of trading.
The main BET index, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, registered a depreciation of 0.03%, while the BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks on the BVB, recorded an increase of 0.07%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, which includes the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.02%, while the benchmark for investment funds, BET-BK, appreciated 0.36%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs was up 0.31%, while the BET-NG index, tracking the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, lost 0.31%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in stock values were recorded by Chimcomplex (+15%), Turism Felix (+13.33%) and Sinteza (+10.89%).
On the other hand, the stocks that saw declines were Aeta (-10.39%), Longshield Investment Group (-2.02%) and Romcarbon (-1.26%).
