On Friday morning the Romanian delegation, accompanied by Palestinian Health Minister Jawad Awaad and other officials, went to the Palestine Medical Complex, Ramallah's main public medical facility that consists of five hospitals with different specializations. The director of this institution too looked back in time, telling the guests in Romanian that he studied in Romania and then chose to practice in Palestine. He added that one of the six Palestinian doctors who completed in the Romanian city of Targu Mures a six-month emergency medicine course is currently leading the emergency department of the Ramallah hospital.
