The Romanian tennis player Jaqueline Cristian was defeated by the Czech player Karolina Muchova, 6-2, 6-1, on Thursday, in the round of 16 of the WTA 500 tournament in Ningbo (China), with total prizes of 922,573 dollars.
Jaqueline Cristian (26 years old, no. 73 WTA) loses her second match in Ningbo, after one hour and 17 minutes.
Muchova (28 years old, no. 30 WTA) defeated Jaqueline Cristian twice before, having 3-0 overall: in 2018, in the first round in Versmold, 6-4, 6-1, and this year in Beijing, in the third round, 6-1, 6-3.
The Romanian won with a check for 17,330 dollars and 61 WTA points.
