The chairman of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), Marcel Ciolacu, when asked about the statements of National Liberal Party (PNL) chair, Florin Citu, according to which the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) cannot be optimized, nor modified, answered ironically: "It means the European Commission is wrong and Mr. Citu is right. I was expecting it, in fairness."
The PNL's chair, Florin Citu, mentioned on Thursday that the governing programme contains no renegotiation of the PNRR, and in two years the European Commission allows its evaluation and if there are delays on certain projects, amendments can be made to increase implementation efficiency.
