PresidentialElections2024/Central Electoral Bureau partial results from 94.32% polling stations

The Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) made public on Monday the partial results from the first round of the presidential elections, after centralising data from 18,788 polling stations, representing 94.32% of the total of 19,919 polling stations opened in the country and abroad.

This refers to the centralisation of data until Monday, at 12:00.

The ranking of the votes obtained by the candidates is as follows:

Calin Georgescu (independent) - 1,956,834 valid votes, representing 23.07%;

Marcel Ciolacu (Social Democratic Party - PSD) - 1,665,982 valid votes, representing 19.64%;

Elena Lasconi (Save Romania Union - USR) - 1,530,959 valid votes, representing 18.05%;

George Simion (Alliance for Romanians' Union - AUR) - 1,197,717 valid votes, representing 14.12%;

Nicolae Ciuca (National Liberal Party - PNL) - 764,065 valid votes, representing 9.01%;

Mircea Geoana (independent) - 517,748 valid votes, representing 6.10%;

Hunor Kelemen (Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania - UDMR) - 412,007 valid votes, representing 4.86%;

Cristian Diaconescu (independent) - 252,692 valid votes, representing 2.98%;

Cristian Terhes (Romanian National Conservative Party - PNCR) - 89,464 valid votes, representing 1.05%;

Ana Birchall (independent) - 38,013 valid votes, representing 0.45%;

Ludovic Orban (Right Force) - 18,643 valid votes, representing 0.22%;

Sebastian Constantin Popescu (New Romania Party) - 13,773 valid votes, representing 0.16%;

Alexandra Pacuraru (Alternative for National Dignity Party - ADN) - 13,364 valid votes, representing 0.16%;

Silviu Predoiu (National Action League Party - PLAN) - 10,123 valid votes, representing 0.12%.
