Marcel Ciolacu, the PSD candidate in the presidential elections, obtained 23.2% of the electorate's votes in the first round of the presidential elections, according to the data posted on Sunday in real time on the website of the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP), after the centralization of over 45% of minutes, informs Agerpres.
According to AEP data, the independent candidate Calin Georgescu is in the next place, with 21.79%, and in the third place is, until now, George Simion, the AUR candidate, with 15.51% of the votes.
Also, according to AEP data the next places are as follows: Elena Lasconi (USR) - 12.31%, Nicolae Ciuca (PNL) - 9.92%, Kelemen Hunor (UDMR) - 8.26% and Mircea Geoana (independent) - 4.67%.
