Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky will deliver a speech in Romania's Parliament, the joint standing bureaus decided on Monday, Agerpres reports.
The President of the Senate, Florin Citu, said that the plenary session will start at 19:00, noting that at the beginning the presidents of the two Chambers of the Parliament will speak.
"I will speak first, then Marcel Ciolacu, president of the Chamber of Deputies. The Prime Minister is invited. We don't have a confirmation yet if he's coming. He also has a short intervention and then, depending on the time, the order of the interventions may change. Each speaker has 3 minutes and then Mr. Zelensky has 15-20 minutes (...). The time at which the speech of the President of Ukraine begins depends on whether or not the prime minister will participate," Citu said.
According to the memorandum addressed by Florin Citu to the Permanent Bureaus, President Zelensky will address the Parliament through videoconference and simultaneous translation from Ukrainian will be ensured.
The permanent offices also received a letter from the Ukrainian Embassy in Romania, confirming the availability for the videoconference at 19:00.
