Today, the 'Transylvania' University is a good example of community involvement, and through its academic contributions it tackles the pressing challenges of the contemporary world such as sustainable development and environmental protection. By organizing events open to the Brasov public, your educational institution plays an essential role in maintaining an active intellectual life in the region, both in the cultural and scientific spheres. The conferences hosted by the university are opportunities to strengthen international collaboration in various branches of research and succeed in turning Brasov into a crucible for an intense exchange of ideas, which represents the quintessence of the process of academic life globalization that benefits the entire community. 'Transylvania' University holds all the aces to capitalize on the cooperation opportunities opened by EU's new higher education programs," said Iohannis.
