Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan welcomed on Monday, at the Victoria Palace, a delegation of Ford Otosan, the company which took over the factory in Craiova in 2022, inform Agerpres.
The company has invested 500 million EUR in Romania so far. Ford Otosan is the second-largest exporter of Romania, a Government release informed.
Ilie Bolojan appreciated the company's investment projects in our country and their contribution to the national and local economy.
"The Government supports investments because they create jobs, added value and development, both at national level and in local communities. Romania's economy has resources for a healthy growth, for competitiveness and for increasing export capacity," the Prime Minister said, as quoted in the release.
Ford Otosan Leader Guven Ozyurt appreciated the Government's openness to support the business environment, context in which he presented the stage of the investment in Craiova.
The meeting was also attended by Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister Mihai Jurca.
