The signing of contracts for the measures in the RePowerEU component of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) regarding vouchers for citizens who own photovoltaic panels and vouchers for the energy-vulnerable population has been unblocked, said on Saturday the Minister of Investments and European Projects, Dragos Pislaru, Agerpres reports.
The minister stated that he worked, in the first part of Friday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, together with Minister Alexandru Nazare and the technical teams from the institutions he coordinates, and together they managed to unblock a series of essential measures, "which bring real benefits to Romanians".
"We obtained the approval of the commitment credits and thus we unlocked the signing of contracts for the measures in the RePowerEU component of the PNRR: Investment i4B - vouchers for citizens who already have photovoltaic panels, so that they can install accumulators for energy storage; Investment i7 - vouchers for the energy-vulnerable population - for home insulation, consumption efficiency and installation of photovoltaic panels", said Pîslaru, in a post by the Ministry of Investments and European Projects (MIPE) on a social network.
According to him, RePowerEU is an important program, which he negotiated at the European level and which must be prioritized and accelerated to reduce the energy bill of over 100,000 households in Romania.
"We obtained the approval of commitment credits for the signing of contracts related to the e-government measure from PoCIDIF - an important step for the digitalization of public services for citizens and small and medium-sized enterprises. We thus unblocked the signing of the remaining contracts regarding the digitalization of SMEs and NGOs, through funds from the PNRR - a concrete support for adapting the economic environment and civil society to the new requirements of the digital era. There are major delays and since I took office I have been fighting to catch up and support the beneficiaries," added Minister Pislaru.
He stated that he would "further" detail these measures during a press conference in the middle of next week.
