More than 8,200 Ukrainian nationals entered Romania on Tuesday, with their number increasing from the previous day, according to the Border Police General Inspectorate.
According to a press statement released on Wednesday, on March 29 in 24 hours, 55,752 people entered Romania through the border crossings, including 8,261 Ukrainian nationals, up 8.3% from the previous day.
On the border with Ukraine, 4,523 Ukrainian nationals entered Romania, up 11.3%, and on the one with Moldova, 1,952 Ukrainian nationals, up 4.4%.
From the beginning of the Ukrainian refugee crisis until March 29 at 00:00hrs, 578,828 Ukrainian nationals entered Romania.
