Nuclear elements being in our space in the medium future is out of the question, as Romania is protected by the NATO nuclear umbrella, President Nicusor Dan told a Thursday's press conference.
"Since the moment Romania joined NATO, it has been protected by the NATO nuclear umbrella and being protected by the NATO nuclear umbrella does not imply the presence of nuclear elements on Romanian territory. In the medium term there is no problem with nuclear elements being in our space", he pointed out.
