The capital of Romania is hosting this week the Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs from the member countries of the North Atlantic Alliance.

To mark this event, the first high-level event of the Alliance in a state on the Eastern Flank, located in the first line of defense of NATO, after the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the Triumphal Arch is illuminated in blue, and in the arch of the monument, the Romanian flags and the NATO flag are hoisted.

Also in this context, the City Hall of the Capital announced that approximately 2,400 tricolor and NATO flags are placed in the central area of the city, up to the exit from Bucharest to Henri Coanda-Otopeni Int'l Airport (Baneasa Bridge area).

The logo of the Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the NATO member states, which will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, is presented these days on electronic billboards around the city.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bucharest Transport Company (STB) vehicles run an informative material that briefly presents the role of the North Atlantic Alliance.

The meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the NATO member states is hosted, on behalf of Romania, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu.AGERPRES
