Lawmaker Dan Barna is the new national leader of the Save Romania Union (USR), elected by an extraordinary convention of the USR congress held at Poiana Brasov on Saturday.
Dan Barna garnered 127 votes out of 191 votes, while his opponent Vlad Alexandrescu got 50 votes.
