The number of persons who died because of flu reached 35, the National Centre for Surveillance and Control of Communicable Diseases with the National Institute of Public Health has announced on Monday.
The last person who died of flu is a man aged 84, from Cluj County, who was confirmed with type-B influenza.
He had pre-existing medical conditions and hadn't been vaccinated against the flu.
