The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announced that the activity of the "Sfânta Maria" Children's Hospital in Ia?i will resume starting Friday, after the results of water samples taken two days ago indicated residual chlorine concentrations within normal limits.
"This morning I had a discussion with the Public Health Directorate in Iasi, and the samples taken two days ago came out compliant, both in terms of residual chlorine concentration, they are within normal limits, and from a microbiological point of view, so that today the activity will be fully resumed within the 'Sfânta Maria' Emergency Clinical Hospital in Iasi," said Rogobete, during a visit to Bistrita.
Starting with December 13, at the "Sfânta Maria" Children's Hospital in Iasi, scheduled hospitalizations and surgeries were suspended, after the analyses taken by the DSP indicated decreases in the concentration of residual chlorine in the drinking water, which represented a risk of microbiological contamination.
