The government is expected today to approve railway infrastructure modernisation works worth about RON 2 billion lei under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), according to Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu.
"We are keeping up the fast pace of investments and approve the technical and business indicators of major railway infrastructure works. We are modernising railways in the Bucharest, Craiova, Brasov, Timisoara and Cluj areas. These works are worth RON 2 billion lei, all covered with money under PNRR," Ciolacu said at the beginning of a government meeting on Thursday.
