Government Secretary General Stefan Radu Oprea said that AmCham Romania will organise, in the first months of next year, an economic mission to the United States of America to present investment opportunities in Romania, inform Agerpres.
'Dialogue between the Government and the business community is needed because this effort to attract investors is a shared one. AmCham and the other representative business organisations need a proper institutional relationship and this must take place through ARICE, the Romanian Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade. Unfortunately, it is not fully operational because it has not had a president appointed for a year. This would be the first condition for revitalising this Agency,' Oprea said in a Facebook post.
He added that he spoke about the economic recovery measures proposed by the Social Democratic Party (PSD) in the context of attracting investors and gave as an example the tax credit for greenfield investments, which will support both foreign and domestic investors, the quoted source said.
