Former Interior Minister Gabriel Oprea has gone to the National Anti-corruption Directorate (DNA), summoned in a case for which the Senate approved the start of his criminal investigation for two counts of abuse of office.
DNA says one of the two counts of abuse of offices is the use cof human and material resources of the Interior Ministry to illegally secure Highway Police motorcades for his various whereabouts.
The second count regards the conclusion of a protocol under which the attorney general allegedly was extended the illegal use of official motorcades. AGERPRES
