The Archbishop of the Lower Danube, his Eminence Casian, voted on Saturday at the polling station no. 31, organised at School no. 25 "Petru Rares" in Galati Municipality.
Upon exiting the voting booth, the Archbishop stated that the vote is an expression of liberty and a firm confession of faith in the sacred values of family.
"Voting is a blessed opportunity and a profound expression of freedom that comes from both the conscious confession of our faith, as well as the democratic exercise written in the Constitution. For us, this time, voting is a firm confession of faith in the sacred values of family, who is the unbreakable pillar of our unity and the solidarity of the Romanian people", the high abbot said.
