The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) is mobilising additional resources from six counties to support the Suceava firefighters in managing the emergency situation that was generated by the floods in the county.
The help will come from the Inspectorates for Emergency Situations from Cluj, Iasi, Mures, Maramures, Salaj and Vrancea.
"The inspectorates of Cluj, Salaj, Mures and Maramures will each send an intervention truck, an inflatable boat, two transportable motor pumps and a minibus, along with other equipment necessary for carrying out rescue and evacuation operations in the affected areas," informs the IGSU press office.
"Through this mobilisation, the intervention capacity in Suceava county will be intensified, in order to limit as much as possible the effects of the floods on the affected communities," IGSU stated.
