Power distribution and supply company Electrica produced in H1 2025 an amount of 4,797.8 MWh, by 9.5% higher year-over-year, shows preliminary data submitted on Thursday to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The amount of electricity distributed in the first six months of the year was 8,947.5 GWh (8,684.9 GWh in H1 2024) and electricity supplies to the retail market stood at 3,710.4 GWh (3,759.4 GWh in H1 2024).
The volume of natural gas supplied to the retail market was 442.6 GWh, up from 337.6 GWh over January-June 2024.
The electricity used to cover the company's own technological consumption amounted to 930.6 GWh.
As of end-June, Electrica was serving 3.423 million consumption sites, by 66,500 fewer compared to the same period in 2024.
In the first six months of the current year, the company produced 25,845 green certificates (26,281 in H1 2024).
