Defence minister Ionut Mosteanu on Monday evening hailed the decision of US president Donald Trump to continue supporting Ukraine with modern weapons, including Patriot systems.

During a meeting with NATO secretary general Mark Rutte, US President Donald Trump stated on Monday that Washington and the European Union have reached a agreement on the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the leader at the White House for his readiness to protect the lives of Ukrainians, Reuters reported.
