The mayor of Cluj-Napoca, Emil Boc, voted on Sunday for a city like in the developed countries, and for a strong Romania and Europe.

"I voted so that good things continue to happen in Cluj-Napoca. I voted for a city like the ones we see in the developed countries, because if we want a developed country, then we must first of all have cities like in the developed countries, and Cluj is about to be a city like that, for its people should be happy to live in a city that offers them conditions as close as possible to those in the European Union. I also voted for a team that was able to bring Cluj to the level of development it is today and that has the maturity and experience to know what to do next to maintain it. I also voted for a strong Romania in Europe and for a strong Europe, because only a strong Europe can continue to ensure peace, freedom of movement and access to prosperity," said Emil Boc upon leaving the polling station.

He was accompanied to the polling station by his wife Oana, as well as members of the PNL (National Liberal Party) Cluj, including the president of the organization, MEP Daniel Buda.

Emil Boc voted at section no. 49 hosted by the IT High School "Tiberiu Popoviciu" in Cluj-Napoca.
