Ana Gutu has been appointed state secretary with the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova under a decision of Prime Minister Ludovic Orban.
Gutu is a university professor in Chisinau and held a set in Moldova's Parliament.
The decision was published on Thursday in the Official Journal.
At the same time, Razvan-Codrut Pop was appointed as state adviser to Deputy Prime Minister Raluca Turcan.
