The Federation of Employers of Medical Entrepreneurs (FEPAM) represents a new breath of fresh air in healthcare entrepreneurship, being a framework in which entrepreneurs and specialists from various medical fields can actively contribute to identifying solutions and developing strategies to be implemented in dialogue with public authorities, said Cristina Chiriac, president of the National Confederation for Entrepreneurship (CONAF).
"There is a principle that I have seen very often in entrepreneurship, but also in the world of employers. What do I get out of this business? And the answer is simple. If we only look at profitability or what we get out of a project, then it means that there is no need to get involved there, because you never ask: How can I help, what is my involvement? So, from our point of view, the Federation of Employers in the Medical Field is a new breath of fresh air. It is a place where every entrepreneur in the medical field can contribute to solving various cases. It is the place where strategies will be created that will be implemented with the help of public, local or central authorities, but through the steps that this federation will take," said Cristina Chiriac, after the official launch conference of the Federation of Employers in the Medical Field (FEPAM).
In her opinion, change involves "an improvement, a phasing - and you have to be patient to build."
"What this federation does new in the medical world is bringing together specialists in different specialties because we have created guilds within the Medical Federation, so that those who are representatives, for example, of the medical rehabilitation field or representatives of the radiology field or we are talking about the oncology area, can have their say when the legislative framework changes or, more than that, to present solutions including for optimizing the legislative framework. In addition, there is the need to cooperate with university entities that prepare the workforce for tomorrow, generically of course, so that everything that universities in Romania prepare is in line with the needs of entrepreneurs in the medical field. It is a long roadmap, with several objectives, which you will certainly hear about from Mr. President Adrian Bădescu (President of FEPAM, ed.n)," added Cristina Chiriac.
The Federation of Employers of Medical Entrepreneurs (FEPAM) organized a press conference on Tuesday on the occasion of the official launch of the organization, attended by representatives of central public authorities and specialists in the medical field.
According to the organizers, FEPAM is a national employers' structure that brings together over 400 members from the private medical sector in Romania. The Federation functions as a member employers' structure of the National Confederation for Women's Entrepreneurship (CONAF).
