The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks closed Thursday's trading session higher with almost all indices up, on total trades of RON 85.71 million (EUR16.89 million).
The most traded stocks were Banca Transilvania, with RON 22.01 million in trades, followed by OMV Petrom, which generated trades worth RON 7.59 million, and Hidroelectrica, with trades of RON 4.68 million.
The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks rose by 1.58% to 20,814.90 points, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks advanced 1.53%.
The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks was up 1.41%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was up 0.92%.
The BET-FI index of financial investment stocks decreased by 0.33%, while the BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, advanced 1.88%.
The BET AeRO index of 20 AeRO leading companies was up 1.15%.
The top three risers were Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+10.69%), SIF Hoteluri (+9.9%) and Artego (+9.96%).
The top three fallers were Energopetrol (-13.9%), Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (-9.62%) and Altur (-5.63%).
