BVB stocks close Friday's trading session higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks closed Friday's trading session higher on total trades of RON 62.7 million (EUR 12.34 million).

The most traded stocks were OMV Petrom, with RON 9.6 million in trades, followed by Digi Communications, which generated trades worth RON 8.4 million, and Hidroelectrica, with trades of RON 7.9 million, agerpres reports.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks rose by 1.39% to 20,770.93 points, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks advanced 1.32%.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks was up 1.26%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was up 0.82%.

The BET-FI index of financial investment stocks increased by 0.09%, while the BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, advanced 2.14%.

The BET AeRO index of 20 AeRO leading companies was up 0.16%.

The top three risers were Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (+8.91%), Romcab (+4.97%) and OMV Petrom (+4.06%).

The top three fallers were UAMT (-2.06%), Carbochim (-1.99%) and Biofarm (-1.67%).
