PSD president Sorin Grindeanu has called a meeting of the governing coalition for Thursday morning, at 10:00 am, in his office at the Chamber of Deputies.
According to some social-democratic sources, Sorin Grindeanu invited the leaders of the other parties in the governing coalition, including Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, leader of the PNL, to discuss the 2026 budget draft.
The debates were blocked in the parliamentary budget-finance committees on Wednesday, after the rejection of the PSD amendment regarding social measures.
Normally, the meetings of the governing coalition were held at the Victoria Palace.
