The Bucharest Stock Exchange returned to growth on Tuesday, after a decline of more than 3% recorded on Monday, with the value of transactions amounting to 105.8 million lei (21.3 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, registered an appreciation of 0.65%, up to 17,872.67 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 shares from the Stock Exchange, closed with an advance of 0.69%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, recorded an increase of 0.52%, while the index of SIFs, BET-FI, closed down 0.8%.
The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, appreciated by 0.65%, and the BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utility companies, closed up by 0.79%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an appreciation of 2.10%.
The most liquid securities were those of OMV Petrom, with transactions of 29.2 million lei, followed by the shares of Transilvania Bank - 15.5 million lei and Hidroelectrica - 10.3 million lei.
The most important price appreciations were recorded by UCM Resita (+7.21%), Sinteza (+7.2%) and Bittnet (+5.95%).
On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by Compa (-4.15%), Electrocontact (-3.13%) and Alumil Rom Industry (-2.56%).
