Bucharest Stock Exchange closes Tuesday's trading session in the green with trades totaling 226.39 million lei (44.42 million euros)

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's session with gains on all indices, with trades totaling 226.39 million lei (44.42 million euros), of which share transactions represented 196.72 million lei (38.601 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 1.13%, up to 28,212.55 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Stock Exchange, recorded an increase of 1.11%.

Also, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.97%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, appreciated by 0.75%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.56%, while BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose 0.54%.

At the same time, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, appreciated by 0.36%.

The most liquid securities were those of Nuclearelectrica, with transactions of 130.5 million lei, followed by Banca Transilvania shares (27.53 million lei) and those of OMV Petrom (8.15 million lei).

Regarding the best stock developments, these were recorded by FIAIR BET FI Index Invest (+14.74%), Romcab (+14.52%) and Sinteza (+12.34%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of SIF Hoteluri (-7.08%), Aages (-5.76%) and Electromagnetica (-4.24%).
