Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Thursday's trading session

Romgaz shares were the most traded in Thursday's stock market session on a market with a total value of transactions of 347 million lei (68 million euros).

OMV Petrom shares also generated significant transactions, the value of exchanges on these shares being almost 90.7 million lei. Banca Transilvania shares were in 3rd place, with a turnover of 28.67 million lei.

The best developments were recorded by Condmag shares (+10.71%), Promateris (+6.99%) and Electroaparataj (+3.14%).

The most significant decreases were recorded by Armatura shares (-9.32%), Artego (-6.48%) and Carbochim (-6.29%).

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed lower more than 1% on Thursday, with the main index, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, down 1.37% to 27,645.69 points. BET-Plus, which tracks the 43 most liquid stocks on the exchange, closed down 1.33%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, "lost" 1.53%, while BET-NG, which tracks the performance of ten energy and utility companies, fell 1.44%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell by 1.47%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, closed down by 2.18%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an advance of 0.15%.
