Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Friday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Friday's session lower on all indices, while the value of transactions exceeded 322.64 million lei (63.61 million euros).

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 199.55 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares, with 71.32 million lei, and those of Hidroelectrica, with 14.97 million lei.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 1.21%, to the value of 20,648.34 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed in the red by 1.19%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid shares, recorded a decrease of 0.98%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, depreciated by 0.20%.

Also, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed down by 0.64%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, fell by 0.82%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded a decline of 0.34%.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Green Tech International (+5.32%), Transelectrica (+4.50%) and Turism Felix (+4.33%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Conted (-9.13%), Societatea Energetica Electrica (-4.57%) and Sinteza (-3.90%).
