The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Monday's trading session higher on all indices, with total trading of 87.69 million lei (17.22 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 1.85%, up to 24,890.35 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed with an increase of 1.78%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 2.21%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, gained 2.02%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 1.77%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, rose 0.83%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up 1.63%.
The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 12.83 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares - 10.67 million lei, and those of the ETF BET Patria -Tradeville Open-Ended Investment Fund - 7.2 million lei.
The best developments were recorded by UAMT shares (+13.94%), Comelf (+12.56%) and Premier Energy (+7.86%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by Prebet shares (-4.83%), Roca Industry HoldingRock1 (-3.94%) and Armatura (-3.85%).
