The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday's trading session with almost all indices in the green and RON 71.32 million (EUR 14.33 million) worth of trades.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, rose 0.78 percent to 17,656.26 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares scored an almost equal advance of 0.74 percent.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.70 percent higher, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK inched up 0.46 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies dipped 0.39 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG advanced 0.91 percent.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market closed 0.54 percent lower.
The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were OMV Petrom with RON 18.59 million worth of trading, followed by Banca Transilvania with RON 8.13 million, and Fondul Proprietatea with RON 3.82 million.
According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Chimcoplex (+5.54 percent), Aquila Part Prod Com (+3.53 percent), and Sphera Franchise Group (+2.02 percent).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Romcab (-4.90 percent), Napoca Construction Company (-4.67 percent), and Compa (-3.75 percent).
