Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday's session lower across all indices, with total transactions amounting to 15.306 million lei (3.005 million euros), 30 minutes into the session.
The main BET index, which reflects the development of the 20 most liquid companies, fell by 0.05%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, registered a drop of 0.06%, agerpres reports.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell by 0.04%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, fell by 1.11%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs declined by 0.03%, while the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, registered an increase of 0.06%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra S.A. (+9%), Armatura S.A. (+7.44%) and Romcab S.A. (+5.52%).
On the other hand, the shares of Alro S.A. (-1.96%), Ropharma S.A. (-1.92%) and Sinteza S.A. (-1.67%) were down.
