Bucharest Sector 4 Mayor Daniel Baluta had talks with Ambassador Paolo Zampolli, the United States Special Envoy for Global Partnerships, on investments for the development of Bucharest, expressing his openness to developing joint cultural projects dedicated both to the present generation and to future ones.
'I had the honour, a few days ago, to meet Ambassador Paolo Zampolli, the United States Special Envoy for Global Partnerships. Our discussions focused on Sector 4 and the strategic investments we are making for the development of Bucharest, such as the extension of the metro network and the rehabilitation of the Unirii Square floor,' Daniel Baluta wrote on Monday on Facebook.
He pointed out that, at the same time, the dialogue with Paolo Zampolli reconfirmed the importance of the communities to which they belong, as well as the shared values that define the two nations: democracy, freedom and respect for history, education and culture.
'In the current context, these landmarks become all the more relevant,' Mayor Daniel Baluta added.
