Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced on Tuesday that he will take over, on an interim basis, the responsibilities regarding the reform of state-owned companies until a new deputy prime minister is appointed, after the procedure regarding the vacancy of the position following the resignation of Dragos Anastasiu is concluded.
"Very likely, after this decision is made, we will have to appoint a person responsible to manage this vacant portfolio and I will take over this responsibility until the situation is clarified, i.e. the appointment of another person to occupy the position of deputy prime minister," Bolojan declared in a press conference at Victoria Palace.
The resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Dragos Anastasiu was registered on Monday, and on Tuesday the documents were sent to the Cotroceni Palace.
