Artists from Romania and Greece will be present, between July 29 and August 8, at the 13th edition of the International Visual Arts Symposium "This in the Garden", held in the natural of the Botanical Garden from the city of Jibou, this year under the title "Garden Mysteries".
At the Creative Camp, the most important activity of the symposium, Cluj artists Kancsura István (painting), Radu Serban (painting), Gil Turculet (painting), Gavril Zmicala (ceramics), Matei László (painting), and Costel Chitimus (painting) will participate. Greece will be represented by Yorgos Iliopoulos (sculpture), accompanied by his daughters, Cristiana Iliopoulos (graphics) and Floriana Iliopoulos (painting).
The opening of the exhibition mounted with the works made during the Symposium by the artists participating in this year's Creative Camp, will take place on Wednesday, August 7, at the Botanical Garden in Jibou.
All the exhibited works will be donated and will complete the contemporary art collections of the organizing institutions: the Culture and Art Center of Salaj County, the Jibou Biological Research Center and the Jibou City Hall.
