A number of 3,647 people infected with SARS-CoV-2 are hospitalized in the country's health units, of which 286 are children, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reported on Sunday, Agerpres reports.
According to the GCS, 474 patients are hospitalized in the ICUs, 13 of whom are children.
Of the patients in intensive care, 50 have a certificate attesting that they are vaccinated against COVID-19.
According to the data available in the alerte.ms application, there are 1,675 ICU beds available nationwide for COVID-19 patients, of which 374 in Bucharest.
On the Romanian territory, 57,489 people confirmed with a novel coronavirus infection are in isolation at home, and 4,570 in institutionalized isolation.
Also, 61,485 people are in quarantine at home and 25 in institutionalized quarantine.
In the past 24 hours, 3,446 calls were recorded to the unique emergency number 112.
