The officials of the Three Seas Initiative platform have inked on Monday at the Business Forum at Romexpo in northern Bucharest, the Joint Declaration on the fathering of the Chambers of Commerce network of the Three Seas Initiative as well as a Letter of Intent in connection with the establishment of an Investment Fund dedicated to the same Initiative.
Through the Investment Fund, estimated to be worth tens of billions of euro, a series of interconnection priority projects in energy, transport and digital sector could be financed. Around 40 such projects are currently tabled. Poland had the initiative of creating this fund.
The inking ceremony of the Joint Declaration was attended by officials of the Chambers of Commerce of Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Estonia and Romania.
Likewise, the Letter of Intent referring to the establishment of the Investment Fund dedicated to the Three Seas Initiative was signed by the representatives of the national banks and the guarantee funds from Croatia, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia and Romania.
