The share of jobs for entry level candidates and those without higher education where the salary is also displayed has reached 70% of all available positions, according to an industry analysis published on Wednesday.
"Employers who have posted a large number of positions for candidates without higher education have also increased the level of salary transparency as the moment approaches when the European directive requiring salaries to be displayed in job advertisements will come into force, a change scheduled for the second half of this year. As a result, at present on iajob.ro, the recruitment platform owned by eJobs.ro Romania and dedicated to entry level candidates and those without higher education, the share of jobs that include the salary in the job advertisement has reached 70%," the online recruitment platform said in a press release.
According to the compiled data, most salary disclosures currently appear in job ads in production, retail, tourism, transport and logistics, as well as the food industry.
Thus, a candidate applying for a production operator job can expect a salary between 4,300 and 4,800 lei per month, while a courier can earn between 4,400 and 5,700 lei per month. A retail worker can expect around 4,200 lei per month, while a warehouse worker can earn between 3,500 and 4,000 lei per month.
At the same time, salaries offered for drivers range between 3,800 and 4,600 lei, while positions in tourism or the food industry offer salaries between 3,500 and 4,500 lei for candidates with minimal experience or without higher education.
According to the cited source, most jobs were in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Brasov, followed by Iasi, Timisoara, Oradea and Craiova, as well as smaller cities such as Ramnicu Valcea, Suceava and Bacau.
Currently, around 7,500 jobs are available on the iajob.ro portal and another 23,000 positions on the eJobs.ro platform.
