Bucharest Stock Exchange closes Thursday's session in the red with a decrease on most indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday's trading session , and the exchanges exceeded 86.9 million lei (17 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.23%, to 27,988.09 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Stock Exchange, recorded a decrease of 0.24%.

Also, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decline of 0.11%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, appreciated by 0.98%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.13%, while the BET-NG index, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, closed down 0.15%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, depreciated by 0.60%.

The most liquid securities were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions totaling almost 27.4 million lei, followed by Premier Energy shares - with 10 million lei, and those of OMV Petrom - 7 million lei.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+14.68%), IAR Brasov (+7.11%) and Premier Energy (+5.45%).

The most significant decreases were recorded by Armatura shares (-7.14%), SIF Hoteluri (-7.08%) and Prefab (-5.04%)
