Andreea Prisacariu wins her most important title yet, in Antalya

Romanian tennis player Andreea Prisacariu won the most important title of her career, after defeating Spanish Carlota Martinez Cirez, 2-6, 7-6 (8/6), 7-6 (7/4), on Sunday, in the final of the ITF tournament in Antalya (W35), equipped with total prizes worth 30,000 US dollars.

Prisacariu (25 years old, WTA's 510th) won the final after almost four hours of playing (3 h 49 min), in her first meeting with Martinez Cirez (24 years old, WTA's 437th)

The Romanian saved no less than five match points in the second set.

In the first round, Prisacariu defeated French Liv Boulard, 6-3, 6-1, in the round of 16 she defeated Hungarian Amarissa Kiara Toth, 7-6 (7/5), 3-6, 7-5, in the quarterfinals she benefited from the abandonment of Georgian Sofia Shapatava, 5-7, 6-1, 1-0, and in the semifinals she won against Russian Daria Astahova, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3.

This was the seventh ITF title obtained by Prisacariu in her career.
