The Administration of the Environmental Fund (AFM) approved, on Thursday, new financing files for the Car Renewal Program for individuals, which include 418 eco-tickets worth 4.52 million lei.
"The Administration of the Environmental Fund published today, December 11, 2025, following the meeting of the Approval Committee, a new list that includes 418 eco-tickets worth 4,520,000 lei submitted within the Car Renewal Program for individuals", according to a press release from the institution, sent to AGERPRES.
According to the cited source, after the publication of the list of approved files, the status of the applicant in "beneficiary approved for financing" will be updated in the application.
So far, a total of 12,557 eco-tickets have been approved under the said 2025 program for individuals, with a value of 156.9 million lei.
"Within 60 days of obtaining the status of 'beneficiary approved for financing', the individual applicant is obliged to scrap and deregister the used vehicle, upload the documents to the computer application and enter the date of deregistration of the used vehicle", states the AFM.
The list of files approved under this program is posted on the afm.ro website, in the section related to the Car Renewal Program for individuals.
The registration session for the program on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in transport, by promoting non-polluting and energy-efficient road transport vehicles, dedicated to individuals, will end by December 31, 2025, 11:59 p.m., or until the budget allocated to it is exhausted.
